Dr. Fadeev obtained Master of Arts Degree in English/Letters from Kishinev State University, former Soviet Union. He continued his studies in Moscow Linguistic University and Columbia University. His Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College combined with his Doctorate in School-Child Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University guided him in the choice of his specialty. Dr. Fadeev received additional training in dialectical-behavior therapy while completing his clinical externships in Bellevue and Montefiore Hospitals in New York. His post-doctorate fellowship at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies was centered on diagnostic and assessment work, and his two- year post-doctorate neuropsychology certificate training at the Fielding Graduate University expanded his knowledge of neuroanatomy and neuropsychological assessment from clinical perspective. Two-year post-doctorate training at the Stephen Mitchell Center for Relational Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis allowed for expansion of his views on integrating psychoanalytic work and neuropsychological assessment in his practice. Dr. Fadeev speaks Russian.
Dr. Fadeev is a clinical neuropsychologist at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. He has private practice in Manhattan and supervises students at the National Institute for Psychotherapies.
