Assessment

Dr. Fadeev offers his services to children and their families who are concerned with possible neurological, neurodevelopmental, cognitive, academic, behavioral, and adjustment difficulties that negatively impact their daily lives. Dr. Fadeev sees patients with neurological conditions such as hydrocephalus, genetic disorders, brain tumors, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and autism; traumatic brain injury as a result of an accident, infection, or stroke; exposure to toxins, chemical substances, cancer treatment; attention and learning-related problems; developmental changes such as delays in or loss of functioning. Dr. Fadeev provides neuropsychological evaluation services which require significant amount of specialized training and in-depth analysis of assessment findings. Neuropsychological evaluation, unlike clinical and psychoeducational evaluations, expands the context within which the test findings are interpreted, and presents a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the complex connections between brain anatomy, human behavior, and personality traits.

Psychotherapy

Dr. Fadeev is trained in Applied Behavior Analysis, Cognitive Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Relational Psychotherapy. His approach to patients’ treatment is integrative and selective depending on treatment goals which include expansion of patients’ self-knowledge, cultivating meaningful relationships, examination of connection between brain, mind and behavior patterns, and learning useful daily skills that help patients stay present, tolerate distress, communicate effectively and relate to others. Specialized additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Relational Psychotherapy combined with extensive post-doctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology offer Dr. Fadeev and his patients a unique opportunity towards integrative work in the consultation room. Dr. Fadeev offers individual, couples and group psychotherapy.
